QBL by Camille (“the app”) is designed to protect privacy by default. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.
Short version: the app collects nothing, requires no account, and works entirely on your device. There are no analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.
Information we collect
None. The app does not ask you to create an account and does not collect personal information, health information, or any patient identifiers.
Values you enter (such as weights and tare amounts) are used only to perform calculations on your device and are not transmitted anywhere.
Patient data
The app is a calculator. It is not an electronic health record and is not intended to store or transmit protected health information (PHI). Do not enter patient names, medical record numbers, or other identifiers.
Documentation of results in the patient record should be performed in your facility's approved charting system.
On-device storage
Your unit's editable tare weights and app preferences are stored locally on your device so the app remembers your setup. This information stays on the device and is removed if you delete the app.
Network and third parties
The app does not require an internet connection to function and does not send data to us or to any third party. There are no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
Children's privacy
The app is intended for use by clinicians and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

QBL by Camille is a clinical aid intended to support — not replace — professional judgment, institutional protocols, and standard of care. Always verify results and follow your facility's policies for the management of postpartum hemorrhage.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
